Fast Growing, Healthy Restaurant Catches My Eye In Greensboro, NC
I am sure glad they did!
What first made me notice Corelife Eatery was the aggressive marketing campaign they launched for their soft opening event. They were giving out free meals for two straight days (lunch & dinner). WOW!! As the owner of a restaurant marketing agency, I know what it takes to launch a successful grand opening event and they knocked it out of the park. They used the right tools, had the right marketing budget and, most importantly, had their staff firing on all cylinders.
Great job all around!
When we arrived, there was a line of eager diners waiting to check out the new restaurant located at 1430 Westover Terrace, Greensboro, NC 27408.
We waited in line for probably 20-30 minutes to make our way in and around to the front.
The staff made the wait extremely easy!
There were marketing managers from corporate, greeting people at the door. There was staff walking around talking to people in line, asking them how they were doing. The line servers and back of the house were killing it! Imagine having to serve over a 1000 people opening day? Talk about a stress test!
The restaurant’s health-conscious menu features “green, grain or broth” bowls priced from $7.50 to $10. The restaurant mentioned the average individual ticket is $11.
We decided on the Korean BBQ bowl (seen below) and it was DELICIOUS!
THE MENU
You can find their menu here: https://www.corelifeeatery.com/menu/
We really enjoyed our meal and are very happy Greensboro now has an affordable, healthy restaurant to eat at.
According to Corelife, chicken is antibiotic-free and steak is grass-fed. All ingredients are free of genetically modified organisms, trans fats, artificial colors and additives, and sweeteners.
Greens include baby spinach, romaine, kale, arugula, mesclun, and napa cabbage. Grains include tri-colored quinoa, organic brown rice, and rice noodles. Several vegan and gluten-free items are on the menu as well as tofu, egg, cheeses, spices, vegetables, fruit, and 14 low-calorie dressing varieties.
Because of our initial experience, I look forward to many more dining experiences at their location and plan to use them as a healthy alternative lunch option.
